Encouraging creativity in the community!

Trimmings Galore, the shop and business, had been trading from 227 Cranbrook Road, Ilford, Essex for over forty years owned by an amazing 81 year old businesswoman, Marie Cooper.   The business has now been passed on to Susan Hayward and the business has moved to new premises at:

9a Highview Parade, Woodford Avenue

Under the trading arm of Phoenix Community Action Network, a social enterprise and company limited by guarantee, we also provide refreshments under our Café Couture - just teas (including herbal) and coffee (various) with biscuits and cakes for now but will increase our range as time goes on.

Trimmings Galore clients range from youngsters working on school projects, housewives, dressmakers and tailors, dry cleaners, interior and fashion designers and many other creative people.

We have, therefore, two price structures - one provides items at normal retail prices and the other for people who want to buy in larger quantities (ie. ribbon - 25 metres or more).

We also encourage people to be more creative and to recycle their clothes and trimmings but more will be written about this as we develop this site. 

Also look out for information on our events with Guest Speakers who will be local and well-known creative people (designers, writers, artists etc.)
